Bear Boy is a 5 year old AKC registered black Labrador Retriever. He's a gorgeous boy with a heart of gold and he is the perfect family dog. 

Bear is 90 lbs of pure sweetness.  He loves, loves, loves his people and is just wonderful with children. He is pretty bombproof with kids, toddlers and babies alike, but he is large so could knock a toddler over.

Bear knows all his basic commands plus! He can also do xhake and roll-over!!! And if you like, you can teach him tricks and more. He loves to learn and is very smart.

Bear is housebroken and non destrucitive in the house.  He doesn't even attempt to get up on any furniture.

His owners are required to travel a lot for work and aren't able to give him the attention he deserves.  They are willing to share any info and are willing to drive/travel with Bear for the right living situation for him and someone who will give him the love and attention he would thrive with.

Bear is a mellow dog.  You can grab food/bone out of his mouth with no concern.  He likes to sing along to the harmonica.  He does well with a walk/jog in the morning and in the evening.  He is an all around good dog.
 
Bear is very good with other dogs however he doesn't always do perfectly with other male dogs who are especially dominant or send out nasty signals.  For this reason we don't recommend the dog park since there can be nasty dogs there, but supervised play dates are fabulous and he loves his walks. He will do great with another friendly female companion or submissive male companion or even better as your one and only getting all the love to himself!

Bear is an inside, loved, family member. His new home should offer that and more. His owners love him dearly and would never part with them if they were not forced to do so.
