Sir Lancelot

Here is Sir Lancelot, a noble fellow at just 8 weeks old. This little man is about as sweet and precious as they come and he deserves only the very best more stable loving home.

Sir Lancelot was in the shelter with a a puppy cold so he is on antibiotics to clear it up. Once he's over his cold, he'll be neutered and get his first set of shots. While at his foster home, we'll start his potty training and leash training, which will be up to his new family to continue working on.

He's in a home with lots of other dogs, a couple cats and 2 young children... we are doing our best to socialize him and start him on his journey to become a good dog citizen. Part of his adoption agreement will include that Sir Lancelot and his new family must take a puppy training class. Sir Lancelot will do well in a home with other pets and would be great with kids. He's a happy and silly pup!

Sir Lancelot is going to grow up to be a big dog, so please be sure that you are prepared for that. He also needs a family who will take time to housebreak him and train him and be firm with him so that he becomes a good and obedient dog. Boxers have high energy, so you must be prepared for that.

If you'd like to apply for Sir Lancelot, please email littlebigdogrescue@yahoo.com and we'll email you an application. Print and fill it out then fax to 310-861-0773, or scan and email back to me. If we feel that your home would be a good match for Sir Lancelot, we will set up a home visit where we bring him over to meet the whole family.

Sir Lancelot can't wait to meet you!

Cajun

Meet Cajun! He got his name because he was rescued in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina from new Orleans. He has been with his foster mom, who tried  diligently to find his New Orleans family, since 2005.

We think that he is likely a Newfoundland mixed with Labrador. He is about 100 lbs and is a loving teddy bear of a dog.

His foster mom needs to find him a great home, where he can get the attention that he so deserves. He is currently fostered with 5 other large dogs, and gets along great with other foster dogs who come and go, both male and female.

He is confident and dominant, he wants to be the boss, but he does great at the dog park and on walks.

He does NOT like cats, and seems to have a super developed prey drive, likely from being on his own as a pup after Katrina. He came to Los Angeles on a flight from New Orleans in September of 2005, so he is 6 yrs old now.

Cajun loves people and is very affectionate. He loves to "dance" by putting his paws on your waist.

If you think you can give Cajun the forever home he deserves, please send an email to RPVMom@aol.com.

He is of course neutered and up to date on vaccines.
